Handmade beaded bracelets that are customizable? Yes, please! These FH bracelets are made using "lava rock" beads, an "evil eye" bead (optional), and two zodiac charms of your choice (optional)!
These bracelets are made using a stretchy, cotton-bound elastic cord. When you add this bracelet to your cart, just include the two zodiac signs you'd like us to use for the bracelet (if any) in the "Comments" section of your order. It will appear during the checkout process. If you check out and realize you forgot to let us know, no problem! Just send us an email at FHRebels@gmail.com, we'll sort everything out.
Zodiac symbols are used in astrology and overlap with those used in astronomy. Originating from medieval Byzantine codices, their current use in modern day society are a product of the European Renaissance. The "evil eye" originated in Greece, where its design has been used for purposes of "reflecting harm", meaning that the user who wears it will be protected against the harm (or "evil eyes") that others may be sending their way. It has also been seen in Judaism, Mesopotamia, Rome, and many other places, peoples, and cultures. In short, there are many traditions in which both of these symbols are used; and as a band that actively encourages diversity, and learning about various cultures, it is a great thing to be able to share these bracelets with you!
Due to the fact some persons may have superstition surrounding the "evil eye" charm, you can omit the the eye, or zodiac charms from your bracelet if you'd like, using the dropdown selection menu.
Due to the handmade nature of this item, all measurements are approximate. Large sized bracelets will have two "lava beads" between the "eye" and "zodiac" charms, rather than a single bead; as pictured in the last photo. Measurements are in inches.
For sizing, please remember the bracelets are made with elastic, so they are made to stretch beyond their listed diameter size. Each size will stretch approximately one inch. For example: a size Small bracelet is 2.5 inches in diameter, meaning it can stretch to be up to 3.5 inches in diameter.
In these photos, Zero is wearing a size Small. Jack's bracelet (pictured last) is a size Medium.
